Love
I smelled it right before I walked into the kitchen.  We all associate things with memories.  Well, when I smell this, I think of love.  It was chocolate chip cookies.  The smell of the cooked, almost burned things reminded me of pure bliss as I contemplated eating them. And there she was. A real life goddess.  Cooking in my tiny kitchen. “I hope you’re hungry,” she said with...

100 prompts in 100 days? Yesterday's:...
Introduction I waited in the office for a good fifteen minutes before my appointment. There were some fake plants, an elderly couple, and a glass window with a counter in front of him. I didn’t know if I was excited or just bored. The secretary slid open the bubbled glass and motioned for me to come closer. “You ready for your interview?” she asked. “Oh yeah. You know it,” I...

Are you a spambot?
Yes. I am a spam bot.   While signing up for something random on a website, I got the question with a blank: Are you a Spambot?  I wonder what would happen if I put yes? As a programmer, I’d be interested to see the code that differentiates between no and whatever.  Guessing it’s an input that accepts anything but blank.

Peru
Had a fantastic mission trip in Peru.  The pastor said I really thrived in that environment.  Maybe I should just be a missionary. I know that doesn’t appeal to a lot of people, but it was really fun. Now I’m back in the United States.  I love my new apartment, but I’m still job hunting.  However, I have a job interview tomorrow at 10:30. Forgot my morning pages, but I’ll...

Amazing photography by Ashley →
This photographer has a thing about prints.  The problem with digital stuff is that you can make a lot of copies of it. With prints, you can control your supply, which my be good if you are trying to make money.  Thanks Dr. Wright.

My afternoon
So, door breaks, door locks..  Jump over a fence, fail to enter back door.  Jump over fence.  Get a pair of pliers.  Open door.  Inside. And that’s the story of how I broke into my own home.

Was trying to find a specific song but found this instead.  Pretty cool.  It took him over 7 hours to make this.  6 of it strumming, 1 of it editing.

Sage interview
Here’s something I wrote a few weeks ago.  I was probably tired and trying to be creative.  Enjoy. I’m finding it hard to write tonight . Really I should get up early and write. It’s hard to focus with Chris in the next room kicking pixels. What would I like to write about? I don’t really feel like anything. Maybe an interview with two of my characters. Probably DW. ...

watching you
My thumb drive/watch was stolen.  Okay, maybe someone just picked it up and didn’t turn it in.    Still, it was mine.  So it’s technically stolen, right? So now there’s a fire kindled under my butt to publish my latest module, seeing as how it’s on the flashdrive and they could essentially publish it under their name. It’s frustrating, but I know what time it is...

Philosophical Dishes?
If revenge is a dish best served cold, what kind of wine do you serve with it? Premeditation? Both literal and figurative responses accepted.

Sage interview
Periodically I do interviews between DW, my facilitator character, and people I would like to talk to or ask questions.  Sometimes they’re a synthetic version of a character I like.  Sometimes they’re one of my own.  It’s like a talk show with verbal role play.  Gets the juices flowing.  This time.. not really.  Here’s an experiment in dialogue. ‘m finding it hard to...
